The Curly Girl Law Difference

When you engage Curly Girl Law, we prioritize your understanding of your legal issues and make sure you are consistently informed about the manner in which your legal matter is handled.

Our Process

Why
Choose Us

The simple answer is you are not required to hire an attorney to start a business, register your intellectual property, or enter into a contract. However, hiring an experienced attorney will provide you with a clear understanding and education of what your options are based on your legal situation and the implications of each path forward that you could pursue.

When hiring an attorney to handle your legal matter, you want an attorney that is not only knowledgeable about the law but someone who will take the time to explain your options in a way that speaks to you and not over your head.

At Curly Girl Law, we take a holistic approach when providing legal services to our clients. We do this by getting to know our clients' personal, professional, and financial goals and placing our client's interests at the forefront of everything we do for them.

Absolutely. When you schedule a consultation with our team, you are not obligated to hire us. We will meet with you to discuss your legal situation. Once we have clear understanding of the facts and know what your goals are, we will present you with a plan to move forward and it will be up to you to decide how you want to proceed.

When you schedule a consultation with Curly Girl Law, you are not meeting with a paralegal or case manager. Instead, you will meet with a licensed and experienced attorney who can explain the legal issues implicated by your situation. Our consultations are intended to be educational opportunities for the prospective client and not a “sales closing” for us. We believe that initial consultations should function solely for the benefit of the prospective client and provide them with insight and knowledge about the law, available remedies, potential outcomes, risks, and costs associated with their legal issue. In other words, the prospective client should receive value, and not a sales pitch, from a consultation. Additionally, scheduling and attending a consultation with a prospective client costs us. By charging a consultation fee, we minimize the financial impact of expending time considering a prospective client’s legal matter when there is no guarantee that an attorney-client relationship will ever materialize.

Know Your Options

Whether it’s not the right time to retain counsel for your legal situation or you want to go another route with your representation, let us help you understand your options.
